Lidl has released new Playtive Clippys sets for the holiday season of 2024, including a new veterinary clinic and a stunt truck.
For several years now, Lidl has been releasing its own alternative brick sets for the holiday season. These sets are produced by the best-known Chinese brick manufacturer, Panlos.
In addition to classic sets such as a police and firefighter station, they also had more unique sets like the licensed Asterix & Oberlix sets, trains, or the brick-built Lidl branch. This Christmas season there are also new Lidl Playtive clippy sets.
New Lidl Playtive Clippys 2024 Sets
Two new sets are available for the holiday season 2024. The largest is the new Playtive Clippys veterinary clinic, which has 865 pieces. The parts will probably come from Panlos but without prints but have stickers.
According to the description, it comes with a built-in elevator, examination equipment, three Playtime Clippys figurines, and animal toys.
The veterinary clinic is voluminous and solid-built. The look is very colorful and includes parts in red, blue, and many white parts. It’s a shame, however, that the building’s play area is a bit small.
Also, it’s a pity that the backside is dollhouse-style and not built up. So you get only one-half of the house à la Lego. Nevertheless, it looks like a nice play set for little money.
The second new set is a stunt truck built from 480 parts. It consists of a truck with a hinged engine compartment, a trailer with an extendable stunt ramp, and a mini buggy. The set features 3 or 4 minifigures.
Further, the colors red, gold, and black dominate in this set. It is also very colorful. Here, too, I assume stickers rather than pad prints. At first glance, this is also a nice play set for little money.
