The Panlos Inbrixx 881102 review: a licensed modular-style Teddy Seaside Convenience Store set with 1381 pieces, three minifigures, and tons of prints.
In collaboration with the Teddy Bear Collection licensor (SKYNET), Panlos has created another unique set here. This is not sold under the Panlos brand but via the sub-brand Inbrixx, where other Teddy sets have already been released in recent years.
Panlos Inbrixx 881102 Review
My wallet kindly sponsored another Panlos Inbrixx set, so it’s a non-sponsored review. I bought the set from Yourwoob for around 40€, and delivery was fast as usual. It came again in a very unspectacular brown box.

The Teddy Seaside Convenience Store consists of four construction phases and 208 steps, each illustrated in detail in the large-format paper instructions. They are nice, compact, and easy to read.
Like the Panlos Inbrixx 881101, the instructions have one lovely special feature. Panlos Inbrixx does not use normal white paper for it but has branded very page with the Teddy Bear Collection logos. A lovely extra for the set, making it high quality.
You can also find a sheet with various stickers. For me, it’s a downer here in the set. More on this later. Don’t worry; the set also has a huge number of prints that make you forget about the stickers.
Minifigures (Teddyfigs)
The Teddy Seaside Convenience Store set also ships with three super cute minifigures, aka Teddy figs. What is particularly striking is that these minifigures are not clumsy Lego clones but new designs with new molds.
You have to put it together, but it’s not a problem. From the child’s perspective, they are a little fiddly in places but look super cute when finished. They have high-quality prints on the front and back and come with various accessories.
In the set, you can find two customers with a blue and black cap and the convenience store employee.
Then, the teddy figs can also be attached to the back. You can also see the licensor’s name on the back of the torso. All in all, great, authentic minifigures.
A look at the set, which consists of three parts. On the ground floor is the convenience store, where the set gets its name, the first floor is a bar, and the roof.
Ground Floor: Convenience Store
The sidewalk has light bluish-gray tiles, which fit well here. A highlight of the set is the front view of the shop. There are two beautiful vending machines here (red and blue). The creators have designed something very beautiful and fitting here using just a few parts.
The details on the built-in windows and entrance doors—each with its own custom print—are also lovely.
Parts of the front also consist of many prints (round tiles); only the large teddy bear shop is a sticker that comes off again after a short time. What a pity
A look into the convenience store. It is colorful, bright, and eye-catching. The wall can be easily opened and closed thanks to a simple mechanism with hinges.
I have seldom seen such a beautifully decorated shop in the world of building blocks. Many of the elements here are also printed. The large tiles, however, have stickers, which is a downer.
Panlos Inbrixx has put much effort into creating custom prints or stickers that you can’t buy, which makes the sets unique. It has stickers of donuts, popcorn, various sweets, and more.
I also have a criticism of the construction. The shop is not on a baseplate but instead made of simple plates. Since these are not supported, they tend to break through at the bottom if you play on them too wildly. A baseplate would do the set good.
Nonetheless, it is a beautifully designed convenience store. Let’s continue to the first floor, where a teddy bear awaits us.
First Floor: Teddy Bar
On the first floor, you have a Teddy Bear bar, a terrace with seating, and parasols. The terrace is very simply designed without tiles but with a few colorful flowers.
The front of the bar consists of a large decoration: Summer is coming. One of the best designs in a set I have seen so far. Lovely and cute. Unfortunately, this is not a print but a large sticker, which makes it less of a highlight.
Positive points go to the bar’s door that has a print. Like the store, the first floor can also be opened from the back, thanks to a hinge construction. This means that children can also play with it very easily.
Once opened, we enter the colorful Teddy Bear bar world. In this, we find the classic elements of a bar: a counter, utensils, bottles, glasses, etc. It is very simply constructed but has a lovely look.
Many different colors have been used to keep it as friendly as possible. I would guess it is a juice bar, not an adult one with 18+ drinks. But hey, we don’t know what the Teddy Bear’s afterlife looks like.
The Roof
A rock band once sang: the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire. It’s not on fire here, but it’s built childishly and sweetly to match the set. It features many gifts, either in the form of printed tiles or classic bricks.
I really like the mix of both here. It harmonizes well on the roof, which is very striking and gives the set the finishing touch.
Only the fastening of the individual gifts is a bit fiddly. You have to work with a bit of sensitivity here. Above all this stands a colorful, brick-built sign with “TEDDY” on it.
Panlos Inbrixx 881102 Review Conclusion
Yet another gem of an alternative set. Like on the Panlos Inbrixx 881101, I can’t take my eyes off it. The 881102 set is a beautifully designed modular building with high-quality parts and many details, using newly created prints and custom minifigures.
Again, it’s not a clone, a stolen MOC, or an inspired set of an existing LEGO set. It’s a 100% original design from Panlos Inbrixx.
I really like that the set with 1156 pieces is not overly large or very small. It is a suitable size that allows it to be played with or displayed.
Yes, the set also has weaknesses: the floor plaits are not padded, making playing a bit unstable. Unfortunately, some bigger details have also been solved with stickers, which will come off again shortly.
Nonetheless, these points don’t make the set any worse. It’s a beautiful, designed set with great bricks and fun construction experience. For me, this is a highlight in the alternative brick world.
